A few days ago we published on the website of Croce Nera Anarchica news about the attempted prison escape carried out by Sardinian anarchist comrade Davide Delogu, which ended with the machine-guns of the guards pointed to his face. We learned about this news from the phone call that Davide is making weekly with his family.
Davide informs us that he is in total isolation from May 1^st and, that the article 14bis will be re-applied against him (six months of constant isolation with censorship imposed on his entire correspondence).
This escape attempt — Davide explains in a personal letter to me, with a document attached — is a Direct Action, part of the campaign for self-liberation, which he decided to launch with the act of May 1^st.

We are anarchists in prison, some for years, some less, and we daily fight the war against domination, face-to-face with the enemy, inside their cages. We share the refusal and the disdain, clashing with the prison authority and its bareaucratic [play on words with bars and bureaucratic] discipline every day.
Therefore, we are cannons that are not loose (for now...), whose explosions, as the recent and the past acts teach, create disruption, material damage and the shattering of prison logic (that, as anarchist, has already been destroyed!). Sending certainly a vital stimulus of action inside a complex desolate swamp, to live your own anarchy, right here, right now, immediately!

Durante l’udienza del 28 aprile, l’esperto di polizia ha testimoniato sulla comunicazione telefonica, focalizzandosi sui messaggi, chiamate e contatti condivisi tra vari telefoni sequestrati. E’ emerso che non c’erano “messaggi di benvenuto” di altri paesi, e che la Vodafone non ha accesso ai dati del 2014 (perché hanno l’obbligo di cancellarli dopo un anno). Confrontando le rubriche sono stati trovati alcuni numeri condivisi, ma non ci sono state chiamate tra questi telefoni nei giorni attorno la rapina.
C’era un interesse particolare attorno al significato di messaggi con numeri brevi (tipo servizio clienti delle compagnie) e l’accusa ha sottolineato che la richiesta alla Vodafone Spagna è stata fatta solo due settimane fa. Inoltre, in una delle case private perquisite il 13 aprile non è stato trovato nulla che potrebbe essere utilizzato come prova.
Durante l’udienza di 5 maggio sono state lette alcune parti del fascicolo. Da una parte la difesa ha esposto vari documenti che dimostrano, per mezzo di sentenze archiviate dei casi Pandora II e di Monica e Francisco, che i GAC non sono un’organizzazione terrorista. Dall’altra parte,

On the night between May 5^th and 6^th a text was sprayed on Courthouse “Freedom for Cospito and Gai” and “Break the isolation”.

On May 3^th, the anarchist Alfredo Cospito — prisoner in high security regime AS2 of Ferrara prison for the kneecapping of Adinolfi, CEO of Ansaldo Nucleare, and recently recipient of another arrest warrant for the operation “scripta manent” — started a ten-days hunger strike against the censorship that blocks most of his incoming and outgoing correspondence. Alfredo is asking comrades to send lot of books, magazines, letters to support his hunger strike and break the isolation dictated by prison censorship.
The prosecutor Sparagna from Turin is imposing the censor against the comrades imprisoned for operation “scripta manent”. In the last few months the censorship has become more stringent, and a lot of correspondence is systematically censored and blocked; books, magazines and any kind of stuff sent him almost never reach the destination. The censor struck also a text that Alfredo sent us in December, to be published in “Vetriolo”. In the same way an Anna’s text, for another publication, was seized in January. At the same time, not one single copy of our journal reached Alfredo and other prisoners: seized by guards, or frequently simply disappeared.
It is clear that if isolation against comrades becomes more intense and so pressing is also, and above all, because of the censorship and the blocking of correspondence. It is clear that the power can not tolerate that comrades contribute to the discussion between rebellious and enemies of authority. The miserable work of spying and the censorship are systematically intensified because the power presumes and imagines that it can annihilates and silences the anarchists in its prisons.

A text that sums up the ideas expressed during the meetings ‘With our heads held high’

State repression is the most important part of the system of dominion and one of its most disgraceful expressions; it doesn’t surprise us that those who are struck most are historically those who don’t let themselves be recuperated by the system of power, i.e. anarchist, revolutionary and rebel individualities.
The latter respond to the physical, psychological, moral, social and economic repression unleashed by all the components of democratic power and to the brutal indiscriminate violence of its armed hands and the judiciary. This they do with direct action aimed at those responsible for repression, with the creative and liberating destruction of the places of dominion and the sabotage of its infrastructures, so as to put an end, or at least hamper, the causes of exploitation and oppression by human beings on other human beings, the earth and animals.
In the view of total liberation, to passively watch the reproduction of dominion means to be accomplices, so there are those who continue to hold their heads high and rebel.
As a consequence power puts all its strategies into action, and the trials and proceedings against comrades for actions, episodes of conflictuality and writings still continue. Next month there will be the cassation trial concerning so-called operation Shadow, where a number of comrades are accused, among other things, of instigation to commit a crime following the publication of the paper KNO3.
These judicial proceedings are an expression of the war that the authorities are waging on the bond between thought and action, which is the foundation of anarchism’s dangerousness. Beyond individual and specific struggles, this police operation aims at striking the cardinal concepts of antiauthoritarian ideas and methods such as direct action, refusal of delegating and solidarity.
Starting from these reflexions, during the meetings that developed after the arrests of operation Scripta Manent, rather than dwell on the strategies of repression, we felt it necessary to not reduce solidarity to the technical support of those who are in prison, but to widen the spectrum of our analysis.

From a letter received yesterday, May 4^th 2017, we learn that the hunger strike carried on from May 3^rd, which will go on for 10 days, following the heavy censorship, is a result of an extended period and of continual block of most incoming and outgoing letters, books, news etc. sent him by so many comrades.
Especially, he writes, the letters sent him from one of us, editors of C.N.A. [Anarchist Black Cross], have all been blocked, 7 out of 7, in the last month.
In this letter of just few lines it is highlighted that the censorship has already been extended for another three months more than a month ago, but it started to hammering heavier than usual after the investigation has been closed.
From what he says, also in this letter, in Rebibbia [prison in Rome] is even worse.

He concludes the letter with a shout: “BREAK THE ISOLATION!”

Abbiamo incendiato un furgoncino di Vinci, costruttore e gestore di prigioni, autostrade, CIE e altri aeroporti. Un furgoncino della Sodexo (gestisce le mense in molte prigioni), una macchina della Engie (la cui filiale Gepsa è un partner privilegiato nella gestione delle prigioni) e una della JCDecaux (che, in più di imporci delle pubblicità ad ogni angolo di strada, sfrutta i prigionieri facendo loro riparare le Velib’ [biciclette in libero servizio dell’agglomerazione parigina; NdT]) ci hanno fatto l’occhiolino, ma in mancanza di diavolina abbiamo bucato loro le gomme, sempre nelle strade di Bagnolet. Un cucù solidale ai/le compagni/e in prigione a causa dell’incendio della macchina degli sbirri il 18 maggio scorso (presto sarà un anno!) e a Damien, accusato di aver attaccato un concessionario Jaguar, un ufficio di collocamento, un supermercato Franprix e una Camera di commercio e dell’industria durarante la manifestazione spontanea distruttrice del 14 aprile.

I bancomati di due banche (LCL, Crédit Agricole) sono stati spaccati con un martello, in due quartieri diversi (Chaprais e Fontaine Ecu). Lo schermo di un bancomat della Caisse d’Epargne nel settore di Charpais, è stato ricoperto di vernice.
